I. Cancer (Generally)

What does it think it is killing so many people every year, and why won't it die? Too many loved ones around the world are lost every year from one form of cancer or another. What's worse: EVERYTHING causes it! Maybe EVERYTHING should be here at #1. But seriously, something is wrong when organic food, air, MSG, and s*x all cause the same thing: death by cancer. The treatments for cancer should also sit up here at #1, they are almost as bad as the disease.

II. "W"

Leading a nation forward from the largest national surplus to the largest national deficit, severing ties & burning bridges with all other nations of the world, spying on citizens of the country he leads (Tricky Dick Nixon only got caught spying on the ant-war hippy George McGovern), leading a nation to war under false pretense, the whole torture bit, we think he causes cancer...

III. Asbestos & Mesothelioma

First off, both of them are harder than hell to pronounce. The US Senate wasted too much time on its bill to create a federal trust fund to bail out the Corporations that knew for 30+ years that exposure to asbestos caused mesothelioma (a nasty form of cancer - see #1), and this trust fund is going to be bankrupt long before those who are still being exposed to asbestos (yes, the US still uses this family friendly fiber), since the effects of asbestos exposure usually don't become manifest for 30+ years.

V. West Publications

How many lawyers will it take to say "antitrust?" As helpfull as findlaw.com is, there has been suspicion that West also causes cancer. Besides, as retro as it is, they will never be as cool as The 'Lectric Law Library.

Everyone knows he's just a wannabe, copy-cat of the universally beloved and feared, the Honorable Ralf R. Rinkle Esq., head librarian at The 'Lectric Law Library, which also happens to be Shatner's antihubris.

V. The Ivy League

When the most difficult part of the education is admissions; and the entire student body comes from schools where they were the top of the class, valedictorian, and president of every campus club; and grades don't mean anything since everyone is use to being the top of the class - and you can't have a school with everyone at the top of the class - wait... yes you can... because the students bitch and complain until they get an A. What does the Ivy League Education even mean except for contacts and a fancy name on a sheep skin?

The Ivy League's antihubris: students who got into Ivy League schools with the odds stacked against them, small community oriented public and private schools, e.g. St. John's College, and community colleges.

VI. Microsoft

We can appriciate the little company that could scenario, however, how many virus ridden PC's, windows driven server crashes, and lack of style does it take for either the company to close its software's loopholes, or everyone move to unix/linux based computing, e.g. Mac, FreeBSD, Red Hat.

Microsoft's antihubris: Apple (though Mac snobs should be on the hubris list), FreeBSD, RedHat Linux, Apache, Open Office, Sun Microsystems, SourceFORGE, and the many other unix / linux / free systems, open source and cross platform software, and open source projects.
