Political Hubris Unstopped
Posted February 16th, 2007 by DumbAsAPostI don't know anyting about anything, but one thing I do know is that Congress' measure to "stop" the president from sending more troops over to "Aayrak" is exactly "symbolic" and hasn't stopped the private interests or the hubris of a few other political elite any more than "symbolicly," so don't kid yourself Mr. NonEuclidean.

Finially Anti-Hubris
Posted February 14th, 2007 by HubrisKillerI'm sick of the "underdogs" becoming jerks as soon as they're on top. I'm sick of societies, individuals, cultures, sub-cultures, nations, corporations, etc. treating each other with such disrespect. Though the meaning of hubris ranges from inflated ego to the point of being a bullheaded ass, to outright malicious violence (malicious violence being much closer to "hubris" greek roots), it should be fought off at all levels and all areas of life.
This is the opportunity I've been looking for to find anti-hubris to balance hubris.

Border Closures
Posted February 14th, 2007 by NonEuclideanClosing Borders is a controversial issue in the states, but Iraq is closing their border & for good reason: stop the hubris, the violence and everything else resulting from open borders.
