SAN FRANCISCO, CA - In a
ground breaking decision today, the 9th Circuit Court of
Appeals upheld a lower-court’s ruling in Political
Correctness v. THE UNIVERSE, that Political Correctness
is not politically correct.
The plaintiff, THE UNIVERSE, representing itself, argued
that Political Correctness attacked symptoms of larger
problems and went further to claim that “Political
Correctness creates worse problems than the symptoms
Political Correctness claims to assuage. I am the last
being that wants others treated with disrespect, I want
the opposite. Nor am I saying that racial, sexual,
religious, political, or any other type of derogatory
term should be used. What I’m saying is Political
Correctness forces people to hide from their hidden
unconscious prejudices, and keeps both society and
individuals from overcoming them. I mean, give me a
break, do you really think that the hubris of societies
will ever be overcome if everyone gets to hide how they
truly think and feel behind a facade of Political
Correctness?.”
The attorney for the defense, Mr. Moonbeam Starshine
Pachouli-Smoker Flowerchild, Esq., a recent graduate from
the Environmental Law Department at Lewis and Clark,
countered THE UNIVERSE, or at least attempted to, with
“Like, hey... man, being, or whatever [brief cough
with a puff of pachouli smoke], like, you don’t
know man. I bet you don’t even eat your own
home-grown free-range organic tofu.” [THE UNIVERSE
whispered under its breath, “...and to think, your
helping entropy... ]
After telling the defense “We have no idea what it
is that you argued,” the 9th Circuit upheld the
lower-courts ruling that Political Correctness be held
for Fraud, Conspiracy to Commit Fraud, Conspiracy to Hide
Truth, and Hubris. The court further demanded that
Political Correctness immediately “stop being such
a f@#$ing wuss.”
Sentencing is scheduled for later this year.
