Announces Development of the World's First Hubrometer

INTERNET – In an interview with itself
today, Antihubris.com announced that it is already in
private antepenultimate pre-beta testing of what it has
dubbed the Hubrometer. tm
Antihubris.com’s Webmaster / Senior Hubrometer tm
Developer / and Chief Algorithm Expert said,
“We’re working on an algorithm, and complex
data modeling and analysis more complex, and less
redundant, than any other the world has seen. Our initial
public antipenultimate pre-beta release of the Hubrometer
tm will be limited in scope to real-time
hubris measurements of the United States and the World as
a whole.
“Eventually a user of the Hubrometer tm
will be able to measure both real-time and the trend /
history hubris levels of everything from a celebrity, a
John Doe, a website, a law, or a city to individual
countries and international corporations. When we flipped
the on switch to 'on' - stop me if I get too technical -
in our initial private pre-antepenultimate pre-beta test
of the Hubrometer, tm it read such a high
level of hubris that we almost crashed the Western and
North East power grids. We have since put more parameters
on its hubris readings, and added antihubristic words,
actions, etc. to the primary algorithm in order to
provide more accuracy and balance to the
Hubrometertm as a whole. I must admit, it was
a bit hubristic of us to only include hubris and not
include antihubris in the Hubrometer'stm
algorithm, but we've been able to move past our past
mistakes.
“We are, however, working round the clock on this
project. I’ve assembled a crack team of
mathematicians, programmers, web designers, AJAX
specialists (both for the web, and for the Greek hero),
satirists, politicians, CEOs, cartoonists, theologians,
philosophers, and exceptional coffee. We even got
Antihubris.com’s World Hubris Experts Department
pulled away from their usual World Hubris Expert work, to
help on the project, and with a project of this magnitude
we need all the help we can get.”
Antihubris.com was able to view the Hubrometer
tm during the interview with itself, and was
too stunned by its briliance to be able to begin to
describe it.
Antihubris.com refused to give an exact date on the first
public antepenultimate pre-beta release of the
Hubrometer, tm but commented that they hoped
it would be sooner rather than later, “the world
needs this, it really needs this, but frankly,
we’re not sure the world is ready for or capable of
handling the Hubrometer, tm we can only cross
our fingers.”
